"Ricochet" is a classic timber cruiser, fully reconstructed from the deck up, and re-launched in 2007 as a "new" boat. The original vessel was strongly constructed in clinker formed Tasmanian mahogany. She was gutted by her very capable previous owner, and rebuilt as a comfortable cabin cruiser with enclosed bathroom, galley area and private twin berth up forward. She will comfortably sleep 3, but up to 4 with an extra mattress (supplied). He installed a new Isuzu 4 cylinder 55 hp diesel which has only done 185 hours. The fit-out is in gorgeous blackwood. Decks and roof have been epoxy coated for low maintenance. She features solar charging, house and start batteries, enclosed porta pottie, fish-finder, VHF radio and solar vents. The drive train was also replaced and her 4 blade prop provides a fast cruise of 8 knots @ 2000 rpm.
This roomy little cruiser has been beautifully finished and is in great condition throughout. New covers just fitted.
