Unfortunately we haven't had time to use or maintain this lovely cruiser which has so much potential. There's a bit of work to do to bring it up to scratch but work will bring great rewards to the buyer.
It is 35 foot long, with good timber Hull with fibreglass skin. It has a reliable Perkins Diesel motor 6cylinder slant turbo 6354 Inboard, 120 HP, new batteries and new alternator. It has Victorian Registration: KK89 registered until 5/9/2025.
Named "Defiance" it comes with history being first built in 1941 as a Landing Craft and was later remodelled and rebuilt as a cruiser.
Six berths consist of one V-berth, two single built-in bunks and a foldout couch in the top cabin. The cockpit area is located in the top cabin with windows all around and two couches. Downstairs has a kitchen and dining area and separate shower toilet, bunks and V-berth. There is also another downstairs storage area at rear, and outdoor deck at the rear.
Requires cleaning, painting, maintenance and some repairs of woodwork and some minor electrical work.
It is currently moored at Port of Sale, Victoria. Mooring lease can be transferred via Wellington Shire Council. The Port has recently been upgraded with walkways, and finger jetties next to boats.
