The 1971 Feadship 85 Motor Yacht Kapal is a timeless classic combining elegant, traditional styling with modern technology upgrades, offering safe and luxurious long-range cruising. Meticulously maintained and extensively refitted, she represents a rare opportunity to acquire a full-displacement steel motor yacht from one of the world's most prestigious superyacht builders. Recent enhancements include comprehensive hull and superstructure repainting, renewed brightwork, lithium house batteries, Furuno navigation systems and a Heos entertainment package.
Kapal features a spacious, fully equipped engine room with low-hour Cummins QSM11 main engines, twin Cummins Onan generators and modern electrical distribution. Her hydraulic hi/lo swim platform and teak-laid cockpit provide versatile outdoor living spaces, complete with protective sunroof enclosures, comfortable seating and tender or jet ski storage. The foredeck boasts robust anchoring equipment, including dual windlasses, Mason stainless steel kedge anchors and a polished chrome ship's bell.
The interior reflects superyacht craftsmanship with satin teak joinery, high-quality custom furnishings and large glazing for natural light and ventilation. The saloon offers a lounge area, wet bar and entertainment cabinet with a Hi/Lo Samsung Frame TV, while the raised pilothouse features dual helm chairs, elevated guest seating and advanced navigation including radar, night vision and sonar systems. Docking is made effortless with hydraulic bow and stern thrusters and remote controls.
Accommodation is divided into guest and crew zones for privacy and convenience. The aft guest area includes a full-beam master with king-size bed and ensuite, plus two additional ensuite cabins. Forward, the crew quarters provide two cabins, a captain's cabin, U-shaped dinette, laundry and kitchenette, suitable for professional operation or additional guest use. The galley is fully appointed with Miele appliances, stainless steel benchtops and generous storage.
The expansive upper deck stores a Boston Whaler tender, jet ski, and kayaks, launched via a 750kg davit, while the yacht carries an extensive inventory of spares for remote cruising. With her combination of classic Feadship lines, high-quality refits and robust engineering, Kapal is a fully capable, luxurious motor yacht ready for extended voyages in style and comfort.

Accommodation
Accommodations:
Accommodation onboard 'Kapal' is segregated into two zones - the bow and stern as separated by the engine room -
providing maximum separation and privacy. 'Kapal' offers three guest cabins aft each with its own ensuite and separate
shower stall. Down onto the guest accommodation foyer landing to starboard (towards the bow), you will find the master
cabin. To port (towards the stern), there are two guest cabins aft. The full-beam master features a king-size island bed
with a new mattress, port & starboard full-height robes, custom leather chaise lounge, 55" Samsung Frame TV and a
spacious ensuite. The guest cabins feature twin single side-by-side beds both fitted with new bedding and ample
storage. Her bathrooms throughout feature timber floors, tiled shower recesses and Corian benchtops - the build quality
and high-end finishes are easy to see. All aft accommodation cabins and ensuites feature generous freshly re-chromed
portholes for light and ventilation with heavy duty S/S storm covers that can be dogged shut when crossing oceans.
Crew Accommodation:
Access down to the bow crew accommodation and engine room is via a staircase forward of the galley - note engine
room access is also possible via the bosuns locker off the port side deck. The recently refitted crew area features two
crew cabins and plenty of natural light and ventilation courtesy of an overhead hatch (which also doubles as an
emergency exit) and portholes in the hull sides. The dedicated Captain's cabin features a king single bed, with private
access to the shared head, plus an additional overhead bunk. Up forward a total of four additional vee berths are
available to accommodate additional crew. A spacious head and separate shower stall service the entire bow
accommodation/crew's quarters. Off-watch crew can enjoy the generous U-shaped dinette, crew kitchenette, a walk-in
pantry, a Panasonic microwave and a 50" Samsung Frame TV. The ship's laundry is found in this area including
separate Miele washing and clothes drying machines. An owner-operator could easily use this area for overflow
accommodation - teenagers would love being away from their parents up here in the bow.
