Greenline 40 As new - just 50 engine hours / Two cabins Just Listed

While most of us are only just starting to grasp the whole solar and lithium power and off grid living scenarios, Greenline Yachts are fifteen years ahead and pioneering the introduction of these systems and hybrid drives on recreational boats.

Eyachts saw a gap in the market and began importing the Greenlines into Australia about a decade ago. With over fifty Greenlines now sold into Australia and about ten of those cruising around in our local WA waters, it's apparent the popularity of this style of vessel is growing rapidly.

I had had the opportunity to personally sell both new and used Greenlines, from 39 to 45 feet and I have to say, I 'm a convert! By simply reducing the need necessity for a genset, owners save money on maintenance having one less engine to service run but ultimately it's the silence that is really appealing.

Seahorse features a 5000W inverter and 640 amp hours of lithium service batteries - ample to power stoves, ovens, fridges and even the airconditioning for a period of time. With our local sunshine, daytime replenishment means your batteries are often fully charged by mid morning.

Simply put, the ownership costs of Greenline are somewhat less than the tradition twin diesel genset powered cruisers we are used to.

Seahorse is no slouch either, the twin Yanmar shaft drive engines and efficient hull has her comfortably cruising at 17 knots with a max just over 20 knots.

The layout is very user friendly - from her drop down swim board to her saloon and helm station, everything is on the one level. Massive windows invite plenty of light into the living area and also provide an amazing vista to your surroundings. The rear sliding door and hopper windows when open link the cockpit and saloon making a fantastic entertaining area.

Her master stateroom in the bow includes a queen size berth, port holes for cross ventilation and above deck windows. A second spacious cabin to port sleeps two in single side by side beds, again plenty of light and ventilation.

Access to the bow has also been well considered in te Greenline 40. A sliding door at thehelm enables the skipper or crew to step right onto the starboard bulwark and up onto the bow to grab lines if required.
