Maxum 3500

The Maxum 3500 SCR Express is a well-built, spacious and luxurious sports cruiser in excellent condition, with a rigid solid construction, where hull and deck are bolted together. The deck is made of fiberglass to the bulkheads, which means there is no flex or stress. The combination of its wide beam and ample depth ensures that headroom, freedom of movement, light, and ventilation are not compromised.

The galley is uncluttered, and there is a dinette opposite with seating for four or five. The head and shower are roomy with full headroom, and there is an excellent forward double with storage under the berth. The midships cabin has walk-in access with a hanging locker opposite the double berth.

There is a wet bar and ice maker on the starboard side upon entering the cockpit. The two-tiered cockpit is fantastic, seating for 12 on the U-shaped lounge, which can convert to a large sun pad if required. The cockpit has near-new carpeting and plush upholstery throughout, with covers and clears.

On the upper level, the starboard side helm position is high, with excellent vision, and there is a sun lounge to port. The wide beam of the boat allows it to be stable at anchor. Under power, acceleration is smooth, with good throttle response, and it planes around 14 knots with the hull level.

The boat is powered by twin 8.1- litre 496 Mercruisers onto Borg Warner V drives. It has an immaculate engine room, electric hatch, and an approximate fuel capacity of 910 liters in two tanks. The boat has a maximum speed of around 34 knots, depending on conditions, and a cruise speed of 18-20 knots. The boat is propelled by a shaft drive and has a Kohler genset.

Additional specifications include NEW dinghy of approximately 3.0m 2024 West RIB tender, and NEW outboard 2024 6hp Mercury 4 stroke, NEW 12v tender lift ($22k) just installed, fitted NEW shade cloth to clears and covers, forward double berth with privacy curtain and under-berth storage, twin single berths, or a double berth under the helm station with stand-up, walk-in access, as well as hanging locker, cupboards, and dressing space opposite. The boat has two cabins and four berths, with two to three convertible dinettes, an H&C interior shower, an H&C cockpit shower, and a vacuflush toilet with a holding tank.  

The boat also features Fusion Sound, one TV/DVD forward cabin, one TV in the cockpit, climate control with reverse cycle air conditioning, a starboard side galley with a large sink, an H&C mixer, a microwave, Corian bench top, and a U-shaped dinette with a table opposite. There is a large 12V/240V fridge, a freezer in the fridge, and an ice maker in the cockpit.

In terms of safety gear, there is a VHF radio, multiple bilge pumps, automatic and manual, life jackets, and fire protection. The boat has 12V/240V shore power, a 200Ah Lithium house battery, two N70 start batteries, one N70 gen set battery, and a battery charger. The boat also features a Raymarine Axiom GPS/Plotter, Magma BBQ, wide side decks, a large swim platform, and a walk-thru windscreen onto the foredeck.
