A lovely Randell 38 expertly built by Precision Marine. This boat is in very good condition. Been excellently maintained and upgraded by successive owners. Perfect for the River, Rottnest, Mandurah, Quindalup and Abrolhus Islands.
Lovely light interior. Main saloon with lounges, cupboards, benches and galley. Dinette which converts into a double bed if needed and an alternative helm station with all the boats instruments at hand.
Galley with sink, 2 plate induction stovetop and a very good microwave, convection oven. 240 voly fridge and freezer. LED lighting and carpets throughout boat all in very good condition.
Huge amounts of storage onboard.
Accommodation in two cabins. Master cabin with double bed seriously revamped in 2010. Very nice. V berth forward with 3 bunks, cupboards and plenty of storage. Attractive head with fresh flush electric toilet. Wash basin and shower.
Spacious aft deck with 24 volt fridge / freezer chest which runs off shore power, gen set and solar. Great SS BBQ with regulator and gas bottle. Fish cleaning tray and salt water wash down pump and hose. Back deck showers x 2. Great duckboard with retractable swim ladder. Spotlights on aft deck.
Great flybridge with two comfortable helm seats. Two bench seats with cushions. Access to dinghy davitts and dinghy crane. Clears in good condition.
Major makeover of the entire boat in 2007.
New Yanmar diesel engines x 2. New 6KVA Sea Wasp generator in sound proof enclosure. New epoxy paint to hull and topsides. New plastic fuel and water tanks. Quality teak fit out to aft deck. New wiring.
2022 - After coolers x 2, Heat exchanges x 2, engine oil coolers x 2, gear box coolers x 2 all professionally serviced.
New Mastervolt 24 volt 1600 watt inverter/ 80 amp charger. New Mastervolt 2 bank battery charger, new RCD's fitted. 2 x 360 Watt solar panels installed. Solar pretty well runs the boat while at Rottnest with the gen set used for an hour or so to run HWS and inside 240 volt fridge.
Nov 2023 FSC hardstand. Rudders, props, shafts and couplings removed and serviced.
PSS drip less shaft seals both given new kits. Prop shafts checked for true and balance. New exhaust elbow to gen set. New cutlass bearings. Antifoul and prop speed applied. Hull waxed and polished. New upholstery to saloon lounges.
Well known, proven Randell sea keeping qualities in a seaway.
Have no concern about the build year. Quite apart from the fact that these boats were built to specifications in excess of what happens now and nothing happens to fibreglass except osmosis and there's not a trace of it in this boat. Everything else has been updated.
All in all a very well priced boat in very good condition. She easy to manage. Totally reliable and a pleasure to be on whether thats a run up the river or a weekend at Rottnest or a run down to mandurah for some crabs.

Remarks
The current condition of the boat is very good. She's ready for summer with all systems in very good working order. This particular boat has been very well maintained by all her previous owners. The last one being a Marine Surveyor. I'am only letting her go because my partner insists we go back to sailing.
