The raptor 390 solarium is just that. VERY COOL. This sexy offshore brazilian beast, powered by three 300 hp verado outboard engines is the perfect option for the family day on the water or an offshore fishing trip with the boys.
The hull:
The Raptor is one of the deepest V hulls I have driven. 24.5 degrees. This continues through to the transom, unlike traditional deep Vs that tend to level off.
The hull noticeably digs in at high-speed tight turns giving you ultimate control and maneuverability. She also boasts a large bow flare which is ideal for offshore wave eating, exactly what she was built for.
The ponies:
Powered by three 300 hp Mercury verado engines with the skyhook system. A total of 900 HP to push this 390 through whatever is put in her way. Full throttle you are pushed back in your seat until you reach the top speed of 55 knots.
Whether your heading offshore, on a calm harbor cruise, or close-quarter maneuvering the raptor has you covered. The mercury skyhook system works as a dynamic positioning system, so no need to drop the anchor and also makes it a dream to dock. The 3 outboards are controlled independently by a single joystick. It doesn't get much simpler than that.
The Layout
You will board the Raptor from the large swim platform at the stern. A large aft entertaining or fish fighting area with a large foldable bench seat and a beautiful teak table. Forward of the aft cockpit you will find a large serving bench which folds up to uncover the built in barbeque, ice box and sink. You can transform this area from a family outing to a performance game boat.
The Port side dropdown swim platform is one of the standout features of this design. It allows you to enter and exit the water safely without being in the vicinity of the engines.
The Centre helm station consists of 3 large comfortable adjustable seats with all your controls very accessible. Definitely makes it a pleasure to drive without the burden of fatigue on those long passages.
As you walk forward you will be able to lounge around on the enormous sun pad while conversing with your guests with additional wrap-around seating on the bow coaming.
The forward bimini shade is one of the most impressive designs on the Raptor 390. It is easily deployed by 1 person once at rest. It provides full protection from the sun and fully transforms the bow of this boat into a new place to hang out. It packs neatly away into the moldings. It's truly a design that should be adopted by more boatbuilders.
Yes this is a 390 centre console. Looking from the outside you would not expect there to be a queen size bed, sizable shower and head in the belly of the raptor. This is the perfect addition for the family looking for a break from the sun and water or a comfortable overnighter.

A truly fun and sexy boat to drive. As soon as you start the 900 hp on the stern you can feel you heart start to beat harder.
Then you put the throttles down and you are pushed back in your seat, the smile gets bigger as you head towards some swell. Normally with a boat of this size, you would look at backing off but the way she cuts through the rollers is not just smooth, but it feels like it is how she is meant to be driven.
