Lady May is a fast, capable, and efficient pilothouse yacht with classic values and remarkable sea-keeping capabilities. Owned by one family since new in 2013, she planes at 9 knots, cruises comfortably at 24 knots (consuming just 60 l/h), and reaches a top speed of 30 knots.

Constructed with enhancements from earlier models, Lady May features a striking dark blue exterior with heat-resistant resin and was the first Southstar to have AllWood applied to combings and toerails, a varnish product that lasts as long as paint. The interior offers a master cabin forward and a versatile queen berth in the port cabin, with double bunks that convert into a seating area.

Powered by a 480hp Yanmar engine, she offers smooth cruising and exceptional efficiency. Built by Southstar37, Salthouse Boatbuilders, she measures 11.2m in length, with a beam of 3.9m and a draft of less than 0.5m, opening up shallow water anchoring and cruising unavailable to any other vessel. Recent upgrades include new batteries and 270W solar panels.

Amenities include a stainless Manson anchor, sleeping arrangements for six, an Isotherm 200L fridge/freezer, and a Corian benchtop. Bathing facilities feature an electric toilet and internal and deck showers. A comprehensive NMEA network provides engine data, fuel flow, speed, and tank levels.
