Specialised Marine Sales in Mandurah has been seeing fantastic sales in the Searay 355 Sundancer over recent years and we are very pleased to bring another Searay 355 Sundancer to the market.

Available to the WA market now is a 2005 Searay 355 Sundancer with Mercruiser 350 Mag Mpi shaft driven petrol engines, while not the holy grail of diesel shaft this shaft driven 355 will tick almost all the boxes your family might have in a fantastic family cruiser.

Its a welcome sight to have an oversized swim platform to the rear of the boat allowing a much easier entrance to the boat from the jetty as well as giving you plenty of room to shuffle a steak around the BBQ or slip on the dive fins before sliding over the side into the azure waters of Salmon Bay for a swim through the amazing coral Rottnest has to offer. Store the basics in the transom locker before
heading through the Port side transom door to pad around on the marine carpet running the length of the Cockpit. Seating is always excellent in the Searay range of boats with a large U shaped lounge to the rear complete with storage and a removable Cockpit table. Just forward of the rear seating you can keep your afternoon drinks cold in the Isotherm fridge neatly installed under the Port side wet bar.
Relaxing while underway on the Port side chaise lounge opposite the helm is a favoured location onboard and a seat that should not be given up lightly ! All the comfort of a much larger boat residing under a full length overhead canopies with strata glass clears and rear storm covers extending your Cockpit for night time use. Ideal boating.

Three steps down the Port side companionway sliding door will see you standing in a spacious Saloon area more akin to an apartment than a boat ! A large forward queen sized island style berth with a privacy curtain for the owners to utilise with a rear transverse double berth located below the
helm area for a second couple heading out for the weekend which converts neatly from the rear lounge. If additional over stayers are hellbent on a nights accommodation the Galley dinette slides out for an additional king single, small double giving you perhaps 6 in beds if the need arises. A substantial Galley to Port with all you might need to keep the team feed and watered along with a
typically well laid out head directly below the companionway steps completes the Searay package. An added bonus being the Cruiseair AC units running off the Westerbeke genset for those hot summer evenings on the pick when you want to cool the boat and watch something on the TV to relax after a long day of socialising in the Cockpit under the sun.

Stepping up to the raised helm will offer you outstanding vision through the boat and forward over the bow. Uninterrupted views for the skipper will ensure a safe passage on your days boating travels all you need is right at hand, a single binnacle twin stick control, Raymarine touch 7 sounder / GPS, Raymarine VHF radio, Bennett trim tabs and a typical Searay brace of switches and gauges. Flip the seating bolsters up for those that like to stand or drop them down for a more casual approach to the day. A very comfortable helm area ! Powered by a pair of Mercruiser 350 Mag Mpi shaft drive petrol engines running ZF gear boxes pushing out 300 Hp per side will see you slipping along at a nice 18- 20 knots in most conditions the current owners tells us. A sprint speed if needed will see
the boat up around 26/27 knots. Both long blocks were replaced in mid 2022 and have around 100 hours of running time on them as I type ! thats a huge bonus to a 2005 modelled boat and one very few in this market can equal, buying with confidence has to be a great feeling.

We are expecting this Searay 355 to be a well sought option in the current market and would suggest anyone looking for a boat in this class to get o the phones and contact our team. It is probably not going to last following the flurry of interest we have seen in boats of this quality.
