Steve Ward 38 Cabin Cruiser with Caterpillar Diesel

This superb gentlemen's cruiser was custom built by Steve Ward Shipwrights in 2006 for extensive coastal cruising and has brilliant sea handling characteristics. The spacious saloon features a full length galley to Port with upright refrigeration. Onboard systems are powered by an ONAN generator which tops up the batteries and there is an inverter for silent running. The single 420Hp Caterpillar diesel was installed new and has only completed 565 hours of reliable and economical use. Cruising at 18 knots is effortless and a top speed of 22 Knots is available. During trials, the Martin Box Marine team concluded that 14 knots would be the ideal long range speed with 1000 litres of fuel available. Other equipment includes Raymarine GPS and Sounder units along with Auto-Pilot and Radar for the long hauls, trim tabs and a Lewmar electric anchor winch. The two cabins have a large double bed forward and a twin bunk cabin to starboard along with the dinette that converts to another double. The bathroom has a separate shower and an electric toilet with a holding tank. This is a very likeable craft with gleaming new paintwork on the hull and an inspection is highly recommended.
