Reef-furl' furling jib, (furlings. Com) provides ease of of handling and control in a bullet-proof design. Control ease translates to efficiently reducing a 180 per cent genoa down to a 70 0r 90 per cent jib with remarkable efficiency. Best of all, no winch required. U
Single Handing Setup
Ninety-nine per cent of my sailing has been solo, fishing under sail and criusing to country of East Timor.
Top-of-the-line Spinlock clutches allow for handling halyards, topping lift, and reefing system, all to be controlled from cockpit. High-end self-tailing Winches. All lines to cockpit, including reefing. Winche are elf tailing Lewmar and Barlows.
Cordage
Cordage either newer Samsion, or at most, have one seen one season of wear. New sheave in main halyard.
Sails
Sails are in very good condition, including two mainsails, one in use with three reef points (full batten) and 180 per cent roller furling jib with UV strip. One storm sail.
Electronics: AIS with GPS and VHF radio. AIS registered with Indonesia customs and has been used successfully during both check in/check out from Indonesia and East Timor, couple of 500 nautical passages.
New Depth Sounder. Tillermaster 2000 heavy duty auto pilot with blue tooth remote. Yes, you can steer while tossing the anchor.

One week of use on Achilles Inflatable Dingy with 3.5 HP Tohatsu Outboard and Oars. Achilles used twice for rego trips to Timor. Achilles LS2-RU inflatable boat is a lightweight tender with a roll-up, slatted deck. This is a very convenient inflatable that can manage a four plus horsepower engine. Highly portable. Only 57 lbs., 7'6 Length. Hypalon. Paid a fortune; look it up.
Cordage and chain
Bags and bags of cordage. Top of Line Samson. Two cruising anchors and 15 meters of new chain and snubber. Massivd 50 kilo oversized anchor, (negotiable as needed), capable of using for long-term offshore Mooring.
New Trampoline. USA made uv coated.
Comes with complete SE Asia Charts and Cruising Guides, parts spare electical panels, on and on.
Deck being repainted with top of the line Jotun two pack paint and "Softsand" non skid. Cockpit repainted in Dec. 23 as Phase One. Phase two completed by Aug 30. Mostly cosmetic, (as seen in video), but minor corrections firmed up with USA fiberglass cloth as needed.

This video of "Little Wing" is the best Val 31 video I have found, displaying a good representation of the Singapore Sling layout, intetior set up,, and deck outline and boat-in-the-water.
Standing headroom
Note the most forward bow area. That is where I store the anchor chain and rode, running it through the hatch above.
The cabinet to port shown is not on Sling; however, there is a ledge for storage; perhaps 4 inches wide running full length (above the berth) both port and starboard.
No head; no hole in the hull.
Two full berths over six foot headroom, and small dining or chart table.
Singapore Sling is loaded with back up rigging, electronics, electrical panel, tiller master parts. On and on.
There was a Val listed is for sale in Poland for 69,000 euros and there is another Val 2 listed in Yachthub now. Compare and contrast.
Summary: Singapore Sling is an absolute bargain. Im selling house and boat and moving back to Philippines from Rote. Unfortunately, I just had another birthday and so the passage to Northern Luzon is a bit much for this 74 year old, hah.
Come take a tour. Rote Island offers a splendid site to see the craft, with pristine waters combed by fair trade winds combing small islands to anchor and numerous hotels and excellant eateries by any standard. The gateway to Rote is the airport at Kupang, NTT (KOE), a 1.25 hour by air hop from Bali (or a couple hours from Jakarta).
