Built in Hobart in 1985 for offshore races including the Melbourne to Hobart race. Later she was moved to Melbourne where her current owner bought her, 26 years ago. Since then, DOUBLE TROUBLE has been based on Akuna Bay and sail around Broken Bay and the ocean. The current owner has enjoyed the yacht for an impressive 26 years, which tells any buyer that the desinged Joe Adams 'got it right'.

DOUBLE TROUBLE is a fast yacht especially "well mannered" boat with performance, ease of handing and no hidden 'nasties'. Unlike many Adams 10's that are primarily set up as day racers.

DOUBLE TROUBLE features a practical cabin, keeping crew dry and comfortable when offshore and proving a cosy option for overnight stays in secluded bays. Her fractional rig and manageable sail plan makes her easy to sail even short-handed.

Inside, the boat is especially clean and bright for her age. All the sailing gear is well used but has been expensively ugraded recently.

The brand new rigging in November 2025 was carried out by Empire Rig Gosford, NSW - the work cost $20,000. The mast was lifted with all standing and running rigging replaced. The rig between the hull was remade and strengthened. The work was not cheap, but the next owner will have safety, security, and strength.
