CALIBRE:
If you are seeking a brand new high calibre holiday home on the water of magical Lake Eildon, then take a look at CALIBRE.
The owner has had a long history with houseboating on Lake Eildon and has used all this knowledge and experience to not only design a houseboat that will be ideal as a family holiday home but also to embrace the latest technology to ensure a high quality experience all year round.
The high ceilings together with the floor to ceiling tinted windows/walls embrace the magic of Lake Eildon; it comes into the houseboat; you feel part of it. Hit a switch the lights come on; the blinds open; the drinks are cold; roll back the rear sliding glass walls; start relaxing; this is your Happy Place.
Walk onboard the parquetry floor, the feature cedar button walls, the stone benchtops of the wonderfully designed kitchen and the windows all say Welcome Onboard; it is so spacious.
The hidden bedrooms are spacious as well. At water level, the three bedrooms have queen walkaround beds with side drawers and lamps. All have windows opening to fresh air with the ceiling fan. These are serviced by a beautiful bathroom, beautiful tiles; beautiful vanity with the large mirror; beautiful large shower.
The rear lounge is also a feature. Depending on the weather relax behind the glass on the very comfortable couches; lower the large screen TV OR if the suns out roll back the side walls, click on the rear sun awning and you might have a splash on the hydraulic duckboard.
When talking about Calibre being designed for the whole family the First Storey Level is something special. Most importantly it provides a relaxation/entertainment space for the other generation onboard.
Firstly, to the front is a magnificent Master Suite with unlimited views of the magical scenery from the king sized walkaround bed. Time to sleep, press a button and down come the blinds. Watch a movie in bed, click and down comes the large screen TV. A quiet time, read a book on the parents retreat front deck. Then there is the beautifully appointed ensuite. A five star experience on Calibre.
Then there is the second entertainment relaxation space. Where do I start. The feature Gas Log Fire and large screen TV set the room off. Next another special feature; time to have a chat, enjoy a snack, and maybe a drink or two. Press the button and up comes your selection; unique and impressive.
You can still just chill out and relax on the couches and watch a magical sunset with the sun's rays dancing on the water. It is a happy place.
The owner's design experience comes through with having the Powder Room/Toilet. On this level, no disturbing the Master Bedroom with the Powder Room available.
The Top Deck is all about enjoying the sun and the magical views of the Lake in style and comfort. You will feel like you are on top of the world. Enjoy a drink, a BBQ and yes there is another drop down large screen TV.
Calibre has embraced the latest in Technology. It starts with the V8 300hp 6.2L Mercruiser which has plenty of power to take Calibre to your favourite spot on the Lake. Then coming home and safely tying up in your marina pen there are front and rear Thrusters to reduce the stress.
Solar Electrics commence with a massive top of the range Victron Energy Quattro 48V l 15,000w Inverter/Charger System; a Fronius Primo & Victron Energy Solar Charge Controllers; 16 large Solar Panels (fill the roof) feeding the SIX banks of BYD Lithium Batteries. This is all backed up by a Cummins Onan Marine 13kva Diesel Generator. Plenty of power to ensure a high calibre experience on the houseboat.
Further there is the Schneider Electric Space Login C-Bus Systems to operate the lighting, the blinds and the sound system. It is all taken care of.
