Professionally Extended to 43 feet, she benefits from extra buoyancy, extra sailing and motoring performance, extra load carrying ability and a far more practical boarding platform with the extended transom scoops, making access to the water or tender much easier.
Built on the well respected Fusion 40 design, Shellac features daggerboards for excellent upwind performance and shallow draft flexibility, making her well suited to both coastal cruising and extended offshore passages.
She is equipped with reliable 30hp Yanmar engines, an upgraded lithium battery system, and 1250 watts of solar power, providing excellent energy independence for long term cruising. The Raymarine electronics suite offers safe and modern navigation while her spacious and functional layout ensures onboard comfort and practicality.
Inside, Shellac features a galley up design with a U-shaped galley flowing into an L-shaped saloon lounge, creating a bright and social space for cooking, dining and relaxing. Below decks there are three comfortable cabins, including two forward queen berths and a double cabin aft to starboard, complemented by a full bathroom aft to port.
Her sail wardrobe is recent and includes a square top mainsail, a pro-radial self tacking headsail, a laminate screecher on an endless furler, and a symmetrical kite. The standing rigging was replaced in 2023, adding to her turn key readiness.
Whether you are planning coastal adventures or long distance blue water passages, Shellac is a capable and well equipped vessel ready to go.
