The S. V. Classique is no ordinary vessel -- she's an 84-foot Allan Wright-designed motor sailer that has been lovingly brought back to life with over $1 million in professional restoration. Measuring 25 metres overall, with a beam of 21 feet and a solid 8-foot draft, she is a bluewater-capable powerhouse that combines strength, comfort, and style in equal measure. Her full fibreglass hull and glass-over-ply decks speak to her quality and durability, ensuring decades of safe and reliable cruising ahead.
Power comes from a rebuilt Volvo 180hp engine paired with a rebuilt gearbox, driving through a brand new exhaust system, shaft gland, cutlass bearing, and propeller. With two fuel tanks holding a combined 4,500 litres, she offers serious range for long voyages. Manoeuvring is effortless thanks to a brand new 25hp bow thruster with dual controls in both the cockpit and flybridge, and anchoring is handled by a new winch and chain system with a plough anchor.
Her electrical and mechanical systems have been completely modernised. A full rewire has been completed across 24v, 12v, and 240v systems, along with a new 5,000-watt inverter/charger, extensive new battery banks, and a brand new 24v main switchboard. Plumbing is also brand new, including freshwater pumps, accumulator tank, hot water cylinder, and all skin fittings. She carries five water tanks (4,500L total), two black water tanks, and has all-new bilge pumps fitted throughout. Navigation is aided by Garmin GPS, dual VHFs, and an autopilot hub ready for final connection.
On deck, Classique is designed for effortless handling with five cockpit winches (two electric), full bimini covers, wheel steering with all major sail controls at the helm, and a stainless radar arch with dinghy davits. She boasts new Harken furlers and rigging, and her mast has been removed, inspected, and refitted with a new steel step plate. Boarding is a breeze via her full-width stern platform.
Step inside, and her interior is every bit as impressive as her technical upgrades. The aft stateroom features a king-size island bed and private ensuite. There are two additional queen cabins and a bunk room with four berths, making her ideal for large families or charter. She offers three heads (two electric, one manual), three showers, and multiple lounge areas including a main saloon with seating for 12-14 and a wheelhouse with captain's chair and twin bench seat beds.
The galley has been completely rebuilt to a modern standard, with a washing machine, dishwasher, freestanding 900mm oven, two fridges, a freezer, microwave, and tiled splashbacks. There's also a bar fridge in the saloon, two smart TVs, and abundant storage throughout. She has been refitted from the keel up, including hull repairs, full deck replacement, new combings, new stainless handrails, resealed windows, full paint, and new beltings. Every major system has been renewed or upgraded.
The S. V. Classique is not just a yacht -- she's a statement. She's been saved from near retirement and rebuilt, ready for her next owner to take her anywhere in the world. For the discerning buyer looking for a rare classic, this is your opportunity.
Offers over $335,000 are invited, and the owner will consider a fibreglass launch as part trade. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own a truly unique motor sailor with an incredible history and a future full of adventure.
