Accommodation
NEW professionally made Sunbrella upholstery and foam throughout the entire vessel. New Carpeting and underpads. African mahogany wood interior - exceptional condition with no holes drilled for pictures, etc.

Beginning in the forepeak and working aft there is a large chain locker that is isolated from the accommodation by a genuine full height water tight collision bulkhead with a water tight door allowing access into the chain locker from both the forward cabin and the port sail locker.

The guest stateroom is just aft and has a very large V-berth. There is a writing desk hung on the bulkhead that folds down as required.

Just aft to starboard is a very generously sized hanging locker with the guest head opposite to port.

The guest head has a vanity with a wash basin, a Jabsco electric marine toilet with a holding tank, a new safety glass mirror, and an integral shower with a well-designed spray curtain that effectively provides a stall shower.

Just aft of the head area is the saloon. The saloon is separated from the forward accommodation by a genuine full height watertight collision bulkhead with a submarine-type watertight door. The saloon contains a very spacious U-shaped dinette with a table to port with a couch/love-seat opposite to starboard. Outboard of the couch is a pull-out pilot/sea berth. Outboard of the sea berth are lockers. A virtually identical locker arrangement is opposite outboard to port less the television compartment. New (2026) Englaon 12 VDC and soundbar. The full-sized navigation station is aft of the saloon to starboard with the U-shaped galley directly opposite to port. The navigation station faces outboard with a large chart table and a stool.

There is storage inside the chart table for navigation supplies, as well as two drawers and two lockers just beneath. Just next to the navigation station is a large hanging locker. The passageway to the aft cabin contains a single berth with the battery containment compartment just beneath. This is a superb sea berth that will guarantee a restful sleep in even the worst of conditions, as it is located quite low inside the vessel and very close to the pitch and roll axis.

The owner's stateroom is all the way aft and has a genuine full-height watertight collision bulkhead at its entry with a submarine-style watertight door. There is another genuine full-height watertight bulkhead at the extreme aft end of the owner's stateroom, partitioning this cabin from the huge "garage" lazarette accessed from on deck. The owners' stateroom has an ensuite head to port that contains a vanity with a wash basin, new safety glass mirror, a Jabsco Marine electric toilet with holding tank, and an integral shower with a well-designed spray curtain that effectively replicates a stall shower. There is a large berth to port with a settee and vanity with a swing-out seat opposite to starboard.

Galley
The U-shaped galley is located in the portside after quarter of the saloon. This galley is, truly, an ergonomic "tour de force" that will be very much appreciated by a seagoing gourmet both when offshore and in harbor. There is plenty of counter space for meal preparation and an abundance of storage both in and about the galley so that the sailing chef can have all the conveniences found in a shore side kitchen without the usual clutter present in most fully equipped sailboat galleys. The dishwasher no longer works. The Whirlpool clothes washer (new in 2023) is also located in the galley area.

Specific Galley Equipment Includes:

Double Sinks
Stainless Steel Two-Burner Gas Stove
Gas Oven beneath Stove

110 and 220 Volt A. C. Ships Inverter Systems

220-Volt A. C. Ships Shore Power System

The generator and engine each have a dedicated start 12-Volt D. C. Battery. These are totally isolated and cannot be co-mingled with the house supply batteries. The engine, however, can be jumped from the house supply batteries with the provided jumper cables as well as a push-button switch at the helm station if it ever needs to be.

The 24-volt ship's house supply battery bank consists of eight house 12v batteries, 8 x 120 ah 12vdv Hardcore DC12 AGM - total of 480 amp hours at 24v. All these batteries were replaced in 2026.

The house batteries are charged by the following means:
o Solar Panels 2x Sunpower Maxeon3 390/400W (new in 2026),
o An engine driven Balmar 621-24-70 (70 amp) high output alternator with MC-624 (new in 2024)
o Victron Skylla 80 amp fully automatic 220/24 Volt battery charger (2010)
o Mastervolt Charge Master fully automatic 220/24-Volt 30amp battery charger (2024).

All of the above-mentioned chargers can employ either shore power or the ships generator for power.

For enhanced self-sustainability, there is a 24-Volt Sea Breeze Wind Generator that provides 6+ amps of charge in trade wind conditions and a dependable 2-4 amps in more typically average wind speeds

Remarks
Since new, this Amel has only had two owners. The current owners have lived and cruised on the boat for the past 11 years and have owned the boat since 2011. The boat is maintained in a ready-to-sail state and is 100% turnkey for anyone wishing to venture offshore. No expense has been spared on upkeep.

The current owners are also willing to allocate time with the buyers to ensure they have a smooth transition and understanding of all the systems aboard this beautiful yacht.

Please note: NZ, AUS or EU taxes have not been paid. Import fees into the USA have been paid and are valid for the life of the vessel.

This is a great chance for a Kiwi or Aussie to save on import fees and take off sailing tomorrow. All you need are your clothes, bathing suits, and some groceries.
