Amel Super Maramu from 1994, an epic long distance cruising yacht by the well-known Amel design.
Vahiné is very well equipped and offers the excellent finish the Amel brand is known for.
All the equipment on board is in good condition and the boat presents very well.
The Amel Super Maramu has been popular from its conception offering a boat that is easy to sail and secure with a high level of comfort.
The onboard systems are practical and simple to operate as the boat is designed for solo or short-handed sailing.
The rigging is ketch, meaning smaller sails with smaller loads, making for easier management and more sail setting options.
The mainsail and mizzen sail as well as the mizzen genoa and genoa are on Amel patented electric furlers.
There is the trademark Amel twin pole system for downwind sailing.
The interior of the Super Maramu is luxurious and welcoming and the woodwork stands the test of time. There are many intelligent storage options allowing one to carry the necessary on a world cruise.
There is a large saloon area centrally located, a forward double cabin with bathroom and the master cabin aft equally with a private bathroom.
There is also a quarter berth next to the chart table to use as needed.
Vahiné has carried her owners to many destinations and they've taken good care of her along the way.
She's been based in French Polynesia for the last years sailing for 6 months and then being winterised for 6 months, meaning she is now French Polynesia tax paid.
