Bavaria Cruiser 56 Just Listed

On the market after a recent bottom refresh in July 2024 in addition to a completed extensive refresh spanning a year and a bit. This yacht is up to date and ready to sail. It is set up for ocean voyages but equally a comfortable short hop sailer or live aboard. Generous, best in class space and proportions. The inside accom, cockpit and deck space will impress.

July 2024:
New antifoul, new anodes, replaced some skin fittings to new modern type, full prop service, anti-rust a few spots on the keel, seal/combing refresh around transom and keel/hull intersection, cleaned, prepped & flow-coated internal bilges.
Aug 2023:
New anchor winch and motor, new EPIRB, new fire extinguishers, flares / safety equipment etc. 50hr engine service and check following replacement of key components - see below.
Feb 2024:
New 3.1m ridged aluminum bottom dinghy, New 6HP Mercury outboard (additional to spare lightly used 15HP Mercury)
April - May 2023:
New sails fitted (additional storm jib, Genoa and Main as spare still in good condition). New Bimini, new dodger, new mesh sunscreens around Bimini. New upholstery (salon, cabin benches, nav station), All seacocks serviced and re sealed, new Stove with new and certified gas install.
Engine, gearbox & Generator refresh detail - new engine mounts, new water pumps, seals and pipes, refreshed heat exchanges, new filters, oil etc. New gearbox, new dripless seal, propellor shaft realigned and new bearings fitted with new seals. Stripped and serviced / realigned Gori 24" folding propellor.
New bilge pumps and added additional auto bilge pumps, serviced all aircons, new shower sump boxes with new pumps and seals. New aft electric head installed with all new pipes. Installed new pump / macerator motor and pipes for forward main head. Replaced forward head outlet seacock.
New 5x140Ah house battery bank.
