Introducing IMPIAN
IMPIAN has that distinctive line recognised by all. She is elegant on the water, encircled with large windows, and her appearance has everything you would expect of an exceptional boat. The Oceanis Yacht 62 has a reassuring design that is balanced and maneuverable, with a chined hull, twin rudders and a perfectly centered sail plan.
She's a lot easier to operate than her size would indicate. She has an easily managed sail span, comfortable seating on deck and luxurious accommodations below.
Built for comfortable sailing.
Who wants to sail miserable and wet? Who wants to get burned to a crisp while helming? IMPIAN has the solution, an enormous hard top with a retractable sun shade in the center and trim sail vision ports aft. She is complete with a stylish bimini up forward that can be fully enclosed. Transforming the cockpit into a very comfortable location in any condition.
Sticks and Rags:
It's hard to imagine any sailing easier than on IMPIAN. The foot of the mainsail is loose providing a better sail shape and with the push of a button, the main sail is doused by the self-furling mast.
The head sail furls just as easily with the push of a button which can be done from the helm. All lines are led back to the cockpit for easy handling. Tacking is as easy as turning the wheel.
Mini superyacht tender garage:
IMPIAN has that solution of where to put the tender with her mini superyacht garage. Which also doubled down as a large luxurious swim platform or beach club for those days of entertaining in the water. IMPIAN runs with her small but powerful Williams turbojet which makes those beach trips and ashore joineries quick easy and trouble-free.
Maneuvering:
Docking is made easy on IMPIAN, with the simple push of a button with both the bow and stern thrusters controls on each of the duel helm stations.
The cockpit:
Sailboat cockpits are the epicenter of entertainment. The huge cockpit on IMPIAN can easily accommodate a dozen people sitting around two large couches and two dining tables. And when the meal is over the tables can be electrically lowered to make sun pads to let it all digest.
The workhorse:
IMPIAN is powered by the Yanmar 170hp. The real workhorse of the marine world. Located very "James Bond" like under the saloon stairs with all around access provided by removable panels for easy maintenance and work to be completed.
Gadgets:
IMPIAN has been upgraded to Zuse 3 B&G system with 3 separate MFDs. One on each helm and 1 at the saloon navigation station. The Beneteau vessel management system to monitor all of your systems onboard and relays live information to keep on top of all of your systems
She also boasts an enormous house battery bank. 8 x 200 AP lithium batteries all custom fitted to be able to provide enough power for her to be fully operational at night without the generator, air conditioning and all.
Both helm stations are identical with all the operational controls and indicators ready to be used at any time.
Accommodation:
The saloon boasts a massive dining area that can convert to a day bed for a movie night. At the push of a button, the dining table retracts and the flat screen rises.
Large windows along the hull and large skylights on the headlining give ample amounts of natural light which makes the space feel even bigger.
Fully equipped galley with ample storage. Good to stack supplies for all of the long cruises
Features include, a dishwasher, sink, gimbaled stove, large ice box and large fridge, microwave and wine cooler.
