"Future Days", is a truly outstanding and unique blue water cruising yacht designed and built for exacting southern conditions by skilled Tasmanian boatbuilders/yachtsmen, Terry Bragg and Roger McMaster. The Tasmanian heritage is evident in the immensely strong strip-plank hull construction, the superb pilot house/saloon and the sheltered cockpit. With her beautifully balanced lines and her powerful cutter rig, "Future Days" is a thoroughbred. Below the deck, the fit-out features the finest of Tassie timbers including Huon Pine and Myrtle. The vessel is comprehensively equipped and set up for safe, comfortable short-handed coastal/offshore cruising. To highlight a few of the many features... *Two helm stations (cockpit and pilothouse). *Bow thruster, *A quietly powerful 125 hp Yanmar engine, *A complete array of electronics enhancing safety and navigation, *Multiple electrical generation systems (12v and 240v), *Furling genoa and staysail, *Easy to reef main with jack lines, *Heavy duty 2-speed sheet/halyard winches plus one electric power-winch, *A Highfield RIB dinghy on targa davits, * 2 x private double cabins with ensuites, *A full-service galley. "Future Days" is presented in excellent condition. The vessel's knowledgeable owners have maintained every aspect of the vessel to the highest standard. An insurance survey was carried out in May 2023. The surveyor's report summary reads... "After close inspection, 'Future Days' appears to be structurally sound and together with many recent upgrades and continuous professional maintenance is currently regarded as well-suited for its intended design of offshore use". The current owners, after years of delightful cruising in their much loved "Future Days" have decided it is time to part with this lovely vessel.
So... Here is your opportunity to own a rare and special vessel and perhaps cruise the world. Even if extended offshore cruising is not for you it is reassuring to know your yacht is blue water capable. What a great liveaboard.
