Anthem was built for adventure and truly fulfills the needs of long distance and cruising sailors who wish to sail short or single handed anywhere in the world. She provides a blend of the tools necessary to complete long passages safely and quickly, while also providing the style to live very comfortably at journeys end. She is a true ocean cruiser well capable of 200+ nm per day.

Designed by the renowned Chuck Paine and custom built in 1991 by Kanter Yachts in Canada of high strength, longitudinally framed 5083 aluminium. Anthem has a long water line at 19 meters and narrow beam of 4.75 meters and shallow draft of 2 meters, with a displacement to length ratio of 126. A water tight bulkhead is fitted forward for extra security. This is a solid well built and well thought out boat and one reason why she was the winner of Sailing World Magazine "Offshore Cruising Boat of the Year" award.

Current owners are a couple who have completed over 65,000 nm in a 12 year circumnavigation and have maintained the boat to a high standard for safety and ascetic reasons. Owners still cruising and will be returning to live on land in Australia.

A fully functional, enclosed Pilothouse provides internal steering, engine controls, instrumentation, protection from the elements, sea berth and a casual socialising area. Conventional aft cockpit is safe, functional and comfortable. She is easy to manage while still providing "big boat" performance and comfort.

A beautiful looking yacht with classic lines, a clean efficient deck layout, combined with an effective and attractive interior that you will be proud to call "home" anywhere in the world. If you are looking for a live aboard performance cruiser that is set up for remote living, Anthem is worth a look.

Remarks
This boat is a head turner and the envy of a few :)
Without doubt a unique boat built well and sails well. We are known for our fast passages and a comfortable pilothouse that has to be seen to fully understand. We have sailed as far as 44 deg N and 43 deg S and I cant remember the last time I wore my wet weather gear except in the dingy.
She is well maintained and, not only ready to cross oceans, but is still doing it. Owners will remain cruising until sold.
We are serious to sell to the correct person for a fair price.
