Another Duchess is an exciting, fast day sailor, perfect for afternoon or twilight racing, or relaxing time on the water with family. The boat was built for the Oatley family (Wild Oats). The owner did a major refit (2021-2022) after purchasing the boat, and in 2022 took her to Hamilton Island Race week. This year the boat has competed in the RPEYC Wednesday afternoon series and the CYCA Winter Series with good success, and a lot of fun had by all!
Another Duchess is a performance yacht that can be easily sailed by just a few crew or pushed hard in a more serious racing series. She is totally turn-key and ready to win races!
The vessel has been extensively upgraded. Works include:
- August 2023. New North J2 Headsail. Not delivered to the boat yet
- Mar 2023 -Slip & antifoul, Yanmar engine service
- New Gori 2-blade propeller
- All running rigging was replaced
- All hydraulics & vang system overhauled
- All the deck fittings turning blocks, clutches etc were rebuilt or replaced.
- General refurbishment of the interior and exterior
- April 2022 - All Lewmar winches were overhauled.
- March 2022 - New B&G Hydra 5000 system including Garmin AIS installed.
- Mar 2022 - New marine toilet
- Mar 2022 - New boom tent

The interior is white painted throughout and there are comfortable settees with cushions each side of the main cabin upholstered in crème leather. To port there is a small navigation station which includes a new Zeus chart plotter, switch board, battery monitor, VHF radio and sink.
Opposite to starboard is a small benchtop area suitable for the preparation of meals, and an insulated rebate for a gas cooker. LED lighting throughout.
The bench tops are finished with varnished teak, as are the main floorboards.
Aft of the companionway provides access to the engine compartment and two single berths. There is an electric flush toilet on the port side in front of the mast bulkhead that has a privacy screen and the remaining bow area open for sails which is typical for a racing yacht.
