Beautiful big, fast, sleek live aboard yacht.
Moving back on land after 30 years as a liveaboard on several different yachts I've owned.
This big Mac65 has been an absolute pleasure to own and liveaboard. Can easily sleep 8 and if you wish to sleep 10 two additional cost berths can be added. It easily sails over 10 knots on passages and if you're adventurous it will get up to 25 knots down wind with the spinnaker up.
Easily single handed and behaves extremely well and simple to sail. Obviously if you wish to race more hands on deck is easier again.
65ft (19.69m) long, 63ft waterline, 3.77m beam, 2.6m (8ft 6") draft and around 10,000kg displacement. ITS FAST.
Has 150L diesel tank and 340L water tank.
160L fridge/freezer, two lounges, a drop leaf dinning table, a BATH yes a bathtub which is fantastic for your wet gear and you can sit on the seat beside the bath to shower yourself.
85hp pathfinder diesel engine that uses around 6-8L per hour depending on conditions and it will do 8 knots under power. 2 double beds, two single beds and two lounges that can sleep another 2. Plus two cot berths can easily be added above the two single berths if needed.
It's large and open plan inside but it easily can be fitted with curtains or walls if you wish more privacy.
Perfect yacht for Dad, mum and 2-4 kids or a club racer.
The entire yacht is fibreglass (No timber at all). The entire yacht also has foam bouyancy inbuilt into it so it has more bouyancy than displacement which makes it a safer addition than many other yacht designs.
Furling headsail and mainsail.
New larger anchor winch (to be fitted, old works fine but due to be swapped over) new 50M 10mm gal anchor chain.
It' requires new rigging and due for antifouling but the reduced price has taken that into consideration. Going cheap for a quick sale. I'm hanging my sailing boots up and going to move back onto land once the yacht sells after 30 years on the water. What an adventure. Best thing I ever did in life.
