Oyster 565

Oyster Brokerage are delighted to announce the listing of 565/01 NIYA.

Unexpectedly on the market due to the owners' change of plan, this is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a superb Oyster 565 without any long lead times. The 565 was drawn by Rob Humphreys as a sixth generation, or G6, Oyster design, noted for their sleek outboard profile, flush foredeck, twin rudders, and seascape windows in the owner's stateroom. The rig was also updated with swept-back spreaders and a mainsail bias for optimum sailing performance, while capable of being easily sailed shorthanded.

The 565 is a proven circumnavigator and transatlantic cruiser while offering luxurious accommodation for six, and a size that allows easy handling for a couple. NIYA was launched in 2019 and originally specified with the Oyster World Rally in mind. A change of plan has meant that this ambition was never realised.

NIYA is sloop rigged with push-button hydraulic in-mast and jib furling. Below decks she is hand-finished in crown-cut American Cherry giving a rich and comfortable feel. The owner has been investing in her and she presents beautifully.
