The Van De Stadt 34 has an exceptional reputation for its modern, sturdy, and seaworthy design. These are truely capable offshore cruisers boasting impressive sailing performance in any conditions. This vessel was professionally built by Scrubby Creek Boat Works out of Epoxy and Strip Planked Cedar, producing a strong and light hull. The vessel has been well maintained by the current owner who has had the vessel for 15 years, and has continuously upgraded and improved it over this time. The full list of works is extensive and includes removal and refurbishment of the keel and rudder, skin fittings replaced, NEW standing rigging, NEW compression post, and NEW prop shaft! With its comprehensive inventory, stunning interior, and excellent sailing ability, this vessel is one not to miss!

Inside, the vessel has a warm traditional feel with the beautiful timber trims, strip planked hull, and royal blue upholstery. The saloon features a folding leaf table and room for 6 with comfort. The accommodation is excellent with a large double in the forepeak, king single pilot berth, and two berths in the saloon. The galley is to port and well equipped for long passages with large fridge, two burner Stove with Oven and Grill, and double Stainless steel sink with foot operated fresh water pump. The package is completed with a spacious bathroom with NEW 2020 Electric toilet with hand basin.

On deck, the cockpit has ample space for both actively sailing or relaxing at anchor, and is well protected with the spray dodger and bimini. The vessel is well set up to be managed short handed with lines leading back to the cockpit, boombag with lazy jacks, and autopilot. There is easy access around the decks and a manual anchor winch on the bow. The vessel also has an extensive inventory of sails and would make a competitive twilight, round the can, or offshore racer. The standing rigging was also NEW 2017, leaving nothing left to spend to start enjoying the vessel.

The vessel is powered by a well maintained 24HP Yanmar diesel engine which has had a major service in June 2020. This provides easy cruising at 5 to 6 knots.

With its versatility, this vessel would suit anyone looking for a safe and reliable first yacht, comfortable offshore cruiser with racing capabilities, or even a bluewater passage maker. It is well presented and priced to sell. For more information please call Jo Breen 0432 031 100 or John Radonic on 0459 322 862.
