JAFIPAPA II is a Dutch-built Van de Stadt Seal 36 steel cruising yacht with a genuine offshore history, having completed approximately 14,430 nautical miles across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans with a crew of two.

Designed by E. G. Van de Stadt and built by W. J. Slotemaker in the Netherlands in 1991, this 11.3m heavy-displacement yacht combines traditional steel construction with a practical two-cabin layout and extensive offshore cruising equipment.

Purchased by her current owner in 2014, JAFIPAPA II underwent nine years of preparation and upgrades before departing the Canary Islands in January 2023. Her voyage took her through the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Galápagos, French Polynesia and South Pacific before arriving in Australia.

Equipped for extended passage-making, she features Hydrovane wind steering, Raymarine navigation electronics, satellite communications, solar and wind generation, a comprehensive sail inventory including storm sails, and substantial anchoring equipment.

Below decks, she offers two cabins, a spacious saloon with additional berths, a practical galley, dedicated navigation station, workshop and traditional timber finishes.

Significant maintenance completed in February 2025 included underwater hull sandblasting, priming and antifouling, major engine and cooling system servicing, and new cockpit canvas and bimini.

JAFIPAPA II has been fully imported into Australia, with customs clearance completed and applicable duty and GST paid.
