"Tribute" is a well maintained and upgraded Farrier F-31 (number 38) folding and trailerable trimaran manufactured in Brisbane by Ostac (6/12/94) before production moved to California under the name of Corsair. The Ostac (and later Corsair) boats were gel coat boats manufactured under the supervision of designer Ian Farrier (although Ian later left Corsair) using the moulds taken off "Fleetwing" which is still sailing in Australia. In 1992 the F31 was Australian Sailboat of the Year and winner Australian Multihull Offshore Championship. They continued to be built until 2012 and are still the fundamental boat behind the current Corsair Cruze 970. Tribute has always been Brisbane based and was stored out of the water on her trailer at Manly (and for a couple of years at Sandgate) until late 2020 when she was professionally epoxy bottomed and antifouled, then kept in a marina berth, also in Manly, Brisbane.

Although mostly used for "weekend cruising/social sailing", she has also cruised in the Whitsundays and regularly raced (and often won) in the more social races such as RQYS WAGS, WMYC St Helena Cup and other events.

Tribute has a 2013 Peterson "Saltwater series" aluminium and stainless steel trailer in excellent condition, fully electro/hydraulic braked and recently (2024) had new lights, tyres and a Safety Certificate.

This is one of the preferred "aft cockpit" F31Rs with a separate "head" compartment (enclosed with a door) a private 2 person V berth and a make up piece to enable the port and starboard saloon bunks to be able to be made up as a double bed as well.

Tribute has been well maintained with professional antifoul since 2020 (kept out of the water on trailer before then), wax polishing of hulls and topsides, flushing of the outboard with fresh water after every use, installation and servicing of the outboard by Wynnum Marine, and replacement of the shroud chainplates (6mm to 8mm thick) and removal and crack testing of the bow chainplate by Rope Solutions in 2023.

Marine Survey by "Geoff Cruse - Multihull &Marine Consulting" 19/11/2020 with boat out of water with shell tested by percussion and sonic methods with RF moisture metering where applicable. (Results: No signs of osmosis, delamination or impact damage, main beams: no signs of stress or movement. Bolted attachments sound. )

The boat comes with a full set of manuals for the components, component purchase records and a Farrier Sailing Manual (even the original sales brochure). It also has Ostac mast raising equipment, carbon bowsprit (and original aluminium spare), saloon table and individual tables, a boom tent, anchor, chain and rode and other miscellaneous equipment.
