Kurt Hughes 37 Ocean Cruising Trimaran Just Listed

Our fantastic and well maintained Equinox is for sale. Equinox is an ocean going fast cruising trimaran and very comfortable at sea. We did several fast and relaxing ocean crossings with her. Even in high waves and wind Equinox is stable and can bring you safe to your destination.

Equinox was launched in 2002 in the UK, we own her since 2007. From 2018 until end 2020 she had a complete refit. Some of the jobs done: coppercoat, outside repainted, carbon chainplates, new rotating mastfoot, new laminate trampoline connections to hulls and beams, new dyneema rigging and so on. In 2022 a hard sprayhood is installed, in 2025 new sails and 2026 a new engine. See the specifications for all the details.

The interior contains 2 double bedrooms, a cabin with a settee for 4 and a single bed for night watches, a kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen has a large fridge, double stainless steel sink, a 3 burner gas stove and enough storage space for long time living aboard. A desalinator is used for filling up the water tanks.

Equinox is demountable and should fit in a 40-foot container for transportation. We demounted Equinox in 2018 for a major refit, but we never transported her in a container. We used a Farrier F36 trailer for transport in parts. In 2020 we assembled Equinox again.
