The North Pacific 45´ Pilothouse builds on the successful attributes of the NP43, North Pacific Yachts' first and thus far, most popular model, and boasts their Next Generation, world-class teak finished interior with all the luxuries you expect.

Hull & Superstructure:
The North Pacific 45 is designed with a reverse rake pilothouse and bold look to reflect the true capability and function of this long-range coastal cruiser. There is no wood on the exterior of the NP45, only stainless steel, fiberglass, and a durable Flexiteek deck for reduced maintenance and ease of ownership.
The superstructure is made of fiberglass and cored mostly with a synthetic lightweight closed cell foam, which increases stability and eliminates the possibility of rotten decks. The hull is solid, hand-laid fiberglass, which adds to the stability, while a vinyl ester resin is used on the hull to prevent blistering. Below the waterline is additional protection in the form of an epoxy barrier.

Flybridge
The upper deck of the North Pacific 45´ can be accessed by stairs on both sides of the pilothouse or the ladder from the cockpit. The steps on the outside of the pilothouse to the upper deck allow you to safely access the bow from the stern without walking through the cabin, unlike many other pilothouse models. The upper deck is very spacious, providing a large area to relax, with plenty of room to spare for an 11´ dinghy. A high quality electric davit is standard equipment. There is bench seating on each side of the flybridge, finished with Sunbrella fabrics or Ultraleather of your choice. Choose between either one large or two smaller tables, to complete this great area for entertaining. The two helm seats are raised and provide good forward visibility. A large raised dash allows plenty of space for all the standard controls, as well as the standard electronics package. A hardtop above the seating area is standard on the NP45, providing both a platform to mount all of the various antennas and protection from weather. The height from the WL to the top of the hardtop is 17´, and for those looking for a lower height, a folding radar arch is an option instead of the hardtop.

Foredeck
The foredeck around the bow is accessed through the pilothouse or from the upper deck. High freeboard and heavy-duty 1 ½" stainless steel handrails offer protection and safety. Courtesy lights around the foredeck light up the non-skid fiberglass surface, making walking around safer even on a rough night. At the bow is a 24v electric Maxwell windlass with a highly respected Rocna 33 (70#) anchor. This anchoring package helps owners rest easy at night. The split chain locker allows for chain storage on one side and provides a great space for fender and line storage on the other. A molded-in seat at the bow makes an excellent place to enjoy a nice harbor or to cruise with the standard Bluetooth autopilot control.

Cockpit
The fully covered cockpit provides a good area for storage, fishing or enjoying some fresh air when it's raining. There is a bulwark door on each side as well as a transom door on the aft wall to access the cockpit. The cockpit is finished with Flexiteek decks. These are synthetic teak decks that look just like real teak, but require no maintenance and never fade. They give a great first impression when boarding the NP45. The optional integrated reversable cockpit seating creates the perfect place to unwind after a day of cruising. The backrests can be positioned to face either forward or aft. The teak table will make this your favorite place to enjoy a meal, just a few feet from the water.

Swim Platform
The swim platform on the 45´ Pilothouse is 46´´ deep. This makes getting on and off easier, and it's also a great place to sit and enjoy a nice evening just inches above the water. The swim platform on the NP45 is also finished with Flexiteek decks.

World-Class Finishing; Inviting and Comfortable.
North Pacific interiors are built to world-class standards with high-quality materials and finishes. Hand-crafted teak paneled walls, dovetailed drawers, book matched cabinetry, and real teak and holly floors are standard throughout. Adding to the level of comfort, the settees are made to similar dimensions as comfortable home furniture. The interior of the North Pacific 45´ is well lit with Imtra LED lights and LED accent lighting throughout. The combination of good light layering on teak, high ceilings and large windows gives North Pacific interiors a warm feel in any weather, allowing you to feel right at home on the water.

Salon
When is comes to large interior living spaces, the NP45 does not disappoint. The salon is full beam, while still allowing for easy access around the exterior with a full "raised walk around". The salon is as large as many substantially longer vessels, allowing North Pacific Yachts to create a living room effect. Carefully-placed lighting gives the teak a warm glow, while large windows surround the space, allowing in lots of light and providing a nice panoramic view.
The salon is fully customizable, with the most popular layout featuring a small cabinet on the starboard side, with space for two comfortable recliners. The recliners face an H-shaped dinette or an L-shaped settee/dinette. Either option has plenty of storage and converts into a double bed. A 40´´ pop-up TV, outboard on the port side, is perfect for viewing from the recliners. Many other options are available and North Pacific Yachts can also create a custom design to meet your lifestyle.

Galley
Cooks will love that the galley is in the salon so that as they work, they will not feel isolated. A large and well-lit countertop makes an excellent work surface. The galley comes standard with a large (30-33´´), dual stainless steel sink, making cleaning up easy. A Force 10 three-burner cooktop and oven is standard equipment and can be ordered with electric or gas burners. There are seven drawers, one large cabinet with two adjustable shelves, another large cabinet under the sink and a small cabinet above the stove for storing spices. One of the most impressive galley features is the fridge/freezer; a household stainless steel Summit, with 11.35 cu. Ft of space.

Master Stateroom
The plumb bow design creates a very spacious master stateroom with a remarkable amount of headroom. With only one step on each side of the walk around queen, bed-making is a breeze. Teak slats next to the 4 opening portholes give a rich feel to the stateroom. Backlit, frosted glass cabinetry; a white headboard and mirror lighten up the stateroom and add to the feeling of spaciousness. On the aft port side of the stateroom, there are several drawers, a desk and a mirror. This is the space that is used for the optional second head. Even with the two-head design, there are nine drawers, six cabinets and two hanging lockers, providing plenty of storage space. Additional storage can be found beneath the mattress, easily accessed with the aid of gas struts. Two reading lights, conveniently placed light switches, solid surface side tables, and four book shelves at the head of the bed add to the livability of the NP45.

Guest Stateroom
On the port side is a spacious guest stateroom with a 48´´-wide bed. Other layouts are available in this room, including bunks or a combination office with bunks. Various storage options are available, and the number of drawers, cabinets and hanging lockers depend on the layout chosen.

Linen Closet
At the forward end of the hallway on the starboard side, there is a linen closet with lots of useable storage. This space can also be used to install an optional vented washer/dryer or stacked washer and dryer.

Head(s)
The head is richly finished with teak, and teak and holly floors. Your choice of solid surface counter is standard, and there is a choice between an undermount or raised ceramic or glass sink. The standard toilet is the comfortable and reliable Tecma Silence Plus. The large, adjoining, separate shower stall is molded fiberglass and has a frosted glass door with an NPY logo inscribed into it. A tile mosaic on the wall finishes the space nicely. The shower has an opening porthole as well as an exhaust fan and drains to a reliable, Whale gray water diaphragm pump.

Pilothouse
The pilothouse has excellent forward visibility for both the helmsman and crew. With two opening doors and an aft window, you will feel confident piloting the NP45 from the pilothouse in any situation. A fully adjustable Llebroc helm seat is centered in the pilothouse, making long cruises comfortable. The raised dash has plenty of space for all needed instrumentation and is customizable. Aft of the pilothouse helm seat is a raised bench seat and table. The bench seat quickly and easily pulls out into a bed, but also extends into an L, providing a very comfortable area for crew with good visibility. Access to the staterooms, head, and galley do not require passing through the pilothouse, allowing this area to serve as an excellent third stateroom.

Floor Structure
All floors in the North Pacific 45´ Pilothouse are held up by an interlocking aluminum floor grid. Unlike wood, this will never sag or swell over time, and it adds strength and rigidity to the vessel.

Electronics
A full set of Garmin electronics is included in the base price of the North Pacific 45´ Pilothouse. This includes chart plotters, autopilot, radar, fish finder and VHF radios. Due to rapidly evolving electronics, the standard list changes, so please inquire for details.

Engine Room
The engine room of the North Pacific 45´ Pilothouse is spacious, well-lit, and organized, with wiring and plumbing neatly arranged. It is insulated with high-quality 2´´ foam, rubber, and lead to reduce sound. Rubber on the aluminum floor grid helps isolate noise and vibration from the salon. Access is through a gas-assisted hatch in the salon, and there is ample space around the engine and generator for easy maintenance. The boat includes a standard oil change system for the engine, transmission, and generator for easy, clean oil changes. It has two fiberglass fuel tanks, each with a capacity of 400 gallons, which can be upgraded to 700 gallons for extended range.

Mechanical Equipment
The North Pacific 45´ Pilothouse is powered by a single 355hp QSB 6.7L Cummins diesel. Larger engines and twin engine configurations are available for greater top-end speed. The 355hp is a great choice, allowing for comfortable and efficient cruise speeds. With the single engine configuration, the propeller, shaft and rudder are fully protected. Standard equipment on the North Pacific 45´ includes a large rudder and a very powerful 24v Sleipner bow thruster, providing the maneuverability to make docking in any slip easy. A stern thruster is optional for those who like the maneuverability of twins but the economy of a single engine.

Electrical Equipment
A quiet Northern Lights generator with sound shield and water/gas separator, Victron pure sign wave inverter/charger, 160-amp alternator and a large AGM battery bank means you'll have plenty of power. If you are looking to extend your time at anchor without running the generator, solar panels are available in addition to lithium battery options.

Sanitation and Plumbing
The plumbing is PEX with compression fittings for a long lasting and very reliable system. Trident Premium sanitation hoses are also used, with a 10-year guaranty against odour. The freshwater system consists of a 240 gallon fiberglass tank in the bilge and heavy duty dual Marco pumps and accumulator tank for quiet and reliable operation. The 20 gallon electric water heater is located in the engine room.
