Both Main engine and genset are KEEL COOLED and DRY STACK [ less engine maintenance]

Island Girl is Simple, sedate and uncomplicated. At 1000 RPM the Gardner is not hard on you. This engine just purrs. Some old hands say that the 5LW Gardner is one of the best that they ever made.
Both fuel and water tanks have recently been replaced. How many timber boats can you buy where that has been done.
Large rear deck for fishing/ relaxing / dining /entertaining, dancing if you wish... Shower and toilet at deck level.
Port and Starboard sliding doors in the wheelhouse makes for easier berthing.
Good DISPLACEMENT timber boats are getting harder to find. This one certainly fits in to the good boat category.
Heavy duty and powerful Anchor winch, built by Rogers and Lough Marine engineers, with 80 metres of recently replaced 3/8 gal chain.
The current owner has had the boat for 27 years, and he is only the second owner since Joe Waller built it for his own use. Now that's good history.
The current owner is doing up an operational manual to ensure an informed and respectful hand over.
ISLAND GIRL has a graceful and appealing Sheerline and is very attractive from all angles. Don't let this one slip by
