** DUET IS A PERFECT ENTRY LEVEL BOAT FOR A YOUNG FAMILY - AND EQUALLY IDEAL FOR THE YACHTY WHO HAS DECIDED THEY'RE FINISHED WITH SAILING **
BUT GIVEN IT'S SUCH A LOW MAINTENANCE BOAT, IT WILL ALSO SUIT A MUM AND DAD OR A YOUNG COUPLE WHO WISH TO CRUISE AND EXPLORE THE INLAND ESTUARIES AND BAY AREAS.
IN FACT, GIVEN THIS BOAT IS CAPABLE OF CRUISING IN QUEENSLAND COASTAL WATERS IN FAIR WEATHER - THIS BEAUTY WOULD EASILY SATISFY A RANGE OF POTENTIAL BUYERS.
Solid GRP DON Hewitt 32 ft Displacement vessel. BAY or COASTAL CRUISER.
Being sold in conjunction with Seven Star Marine Sales (Gold Coast).
32-ft x 11-ft 10-inch beam x 3-ft draft. (Draft is approximate).
5-tone displacement (approximate).
Low air draft for access under bridges.
Excellent use of internal space from a very experienced boat builder, which was built for his own use.
At 3.3-metre beam and roll chocks / bilge keels, it is easily transported to your home waters.
The roll chocks work at rest and under way. Very good design from an experienced boatman.
The boat can dry out on these chocks with minimum heel.
Very large shower and toilet compartment with holding tank (gravity discharge).
Good engine access with room either side, and front and back of engine plus shaft access.
Good bow height for coastal work. Decent size rudder for coastal work.
Vessel removed from the water circa 3 years ago to have the hull peeled and then re laminated with double bias cloth and vinylester resin. At this inspection the hull was inspected and not one blister was found.
240-volt air con unit that can be used at the dock.
GREAT CARE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO PRESENT DUET IN A VERY CLEAN CONDITION - AND IS WELL PRICED TO MEET THE MARKET.
IF YOU'RE SERIOUSLY LOOKING, THIS IS A GOOD ONE, SO IF YOU'RE INTERESTED DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS RARE GEM!!

Remarks
Small displacement boats in hand-built fibreglass and professionally built are extremely hard to find.
The bilge keels / roll chocks make it even more appealing to exploring creeks and shallow areas where the boat can dry out.
All care but no responsibility whatsoever is accepted by Jim Stuart Marine for the accuracy of the information supplied above.
