Amel 50 Just Listed

The magnificent Amel 50 deservedly won European yacht of the Year on launch and follows this boutique family-owned boat building brand in producing high quality bespoke Bluewater cruising yachts that are practical and cruising couple focused.

It has the signature offset helm enclosed by a cockpit hardtop, but in this modern take the cockpit is very roomy with an aft sundeck and large fold-down swim platform. The yacht is extensively equipped for extended cruising by a couple with ease of handling and great comfort.

This particular yacht has already had some adventures having cruised to the Iceland, South America and across the pacific and is now lying in Fiji.

The sail plan is an in-mast Furling mainsail, Furling genoa and staysail, as well as Genneker. There is a pole for poling out the genoa, and all lines are led aft and there is a bank of three electric winches.

The Volvo 110hp provides more than adequate power and good economy and has just done 1560 hours. It drives a Varifold prop on shaft drive and there is a retractable bow-thruster. In terms of power onboard the yacht is equipped with 200W of Solar (New 2025) as well as a portable solar, a bank of Lithium batteries and a 3500W Inverter (Also new in 2025).

At the helm is a 10" Garmin GPS Map and multi displays, as well as the linear drive autopilot and backup pilot, VHF radio, Iridium Go Sat phone, and there is an integrated Class B AIS.

On stepping below to the light oak finished interior the nav table is to port facing forward in front of which is the U-shaped dinette and opposite a bench seat. The galley runs aft to starboard of the cockpit where there is also the access to the full width mast cabin with ensuite and dedicated shower. It's fitted with a bookshelf with removable fiddles, and a safe. The galley has two drawer fridges, a Force 10 stove with 3-burners and oven. Forward of the main bulkhead is a Pullmann cabin with bunk beds, opposite the guest head and shower, and then the guest cabin has an island style double.

Internationally registered this yacht is currently on the hard in Fiji and ready to start your life adventure and cruise the Pacific and beyond.
