From the moment you step below, the yacht's thoughtful design is immediately apparent, with a bright, open saloon and a practical layout that keeps essential controls and amenities close at hand while underway. The interior features a comfortable U-shaped seating area surrounding a large dining table, opposite a navigation station with an additional settee. To starboard, the L-shaped galley remains well connected to the living space and is equipped with a gas oven, refrigerator, double sink, and generous storage throughout. Forward, the owner's cabin includes an island berth and private ensuite, while two spacious aft cabins share a second bathroom with a separate shower, creating an ideal setup for extended cruising with family or guests.

Under sail, Playlist is designed to be manageable even for a solo sailor. The self-tacking jib and Selden MDS mainsail slider system simplify sail handling, reefing, and trimming, while all running rigging is led aft into the cockpit for safe and convenient operation. Her sail inventory includes a Quantum AC5 full-batten tri-radial mainsail, self-tacking jib, North Sails cruising Code Zero on a furler, and a North Sails asymmetric spinnaker with snuffer. Together, these sails provide excellent versatility across a range of conditions, from efficient light-air reaching with the Code Zero to spirited downwind sailing under spinnaker. Although easy to handle alone, the yacht still delivers responsive and rewarding sailing performance in varying conditions.

Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co and constructed in Germany by HanseYachts, the Hanse 458 showcases high-quality modern yacht building techniques. The GRP hull is built with vinyl-ester resin to improve resistance to osmosis, while the deck uses a lightweight balsa sandwich core for additional stiffness. The hull and deck are securely bonded and laminated to enhance structural strength, and the L-shaped keel with cast-iron ballast bulb contributes to both stability and sailing performance. Reinforced structural bulkheads efficiently distribute rigging loads, giving the yacht a solid and confidence-inspiring feel at sea.

The deck and cockpit layout balance practicality with comfort. Playlist is equipped with a sturdy cockpit hard rail for added security on offshore passages, twin GFC Y-spoke wheels, and a central cockpit table incorporating an electric fridge along with hot and cold water facilities. Additional cruising comforts include a dodger, bimini, and a Weber BBQ. Onboard systems are modern and well suited to extended cruising, featuring a Yanmar 57hp diesel engine with saildrive and folding propeller, bow thruster, lithium house batteries, inverter/charger, solar panels, water maker, and a full suite of navigation and autopilot equipment.
