A Highly Developed Owner-Specified Solaris 64RS
A Highly Developed Owner-Specified Solaris 64RS
Original Owner | Never Chartered | North 3Di Sail Inventory | Warranty Optimised | Palma Berth Available
MOTIVATED SELLER
There are yachts that are ordered from a builder's catalogue and there are yachts that evolve through the experience of ownership. The Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE belongs firmly in the latter category.
Delivered in June 2023 to her original owner, the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE represents one of the most thoughtfully specified Solaris 64RS yachts delivered to date. Conceived as a genuine owner-operated offshore cruising yacht, every significant decision throughout the build process was driven by practical experience, ease of handling, reliability, maintainability and long-term cruising comfort.
With fewer than thirty Solaris 64RS yachts delivered worldwide, opportunities to acquire a late-model example are exceptionally rare. Opportunities to acquire one that has been professionally commissioned, extensively refined and subjected to a comprehensive warranty optimisation programme are rarer still.
Unlike a new-build yacht, the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE has already passed through the commissioning and optimisation process. Following detailed review by the owner, professional crew, Solaris and an independent surveyor, all early-life issues were systematically identified, rectified and refined. Supported by documented Volvo Penta engine servicing completed in April 2026, Cummins Onan generator servicing completed in May 2026, together with lift-out, antifouling and routine annual maintenance completed during April / May 2026, the result is a yacht that is fully sorted, professionally maintained, proven and immediately ready for serious cruising.
The yacht combines the performance, elegance and engineering quality for which Solaris is renowned with a specification that genuinely supports long-distance owner operation. Highlights include a metallic painted hull, Esthec decking throughout, longitudinal tender garage, North Endurance 3Di sail wardrobe, generator, watermaker, bow and stern thrusters, comprehensive B&G electronics suite, crew cabin, extensive owner storage enhancements and numerous practical refinements developed through real-world use.
Privately owned, lightly used and professionally maintained from new, the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE has never been chartered and is offered for sale only because her owner is transitioning to a motor yacht better suited to changing family requirements. With approximately 511 engine hours, 410 generator hours and documented servicing completed during 2026, she presents a compelling turnkey opportunity for a discerning buyer seeking immediate cruising without the uncertainty normally associated with commissioning and optimising a recently delivered yacht.
OWNER'S COMMENTS
When we decided to buy a Solaris 64RS, we looked carefully at everything else available in this size and style of yacht. In the end, the Solaris was the only yacht we found that didn't require us to compromise. Every other yacht we considered involved accepting one or more compromises in either the accommodation, deck layout or practicality.
For us, the off-centre companionway transformed life on deck by creating a far more sociable cockpit and allowing for a genuinely usable sunbathing area around the high-low table. Combined with the hydraulic passerelle, full-sized aft cabins without intrusion from the tender garage and a longitudinal garage capable of storing the tender fully inflated, these were all features that made a real difference to everyday ownership rather than simply looking impressive in a brochure.
When specifying the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE, my objective was never simply to order as many optional extras as possible. Instead, I wanted to create a yacht that would be genuinely enjoyable to own over many years easy to maintain, straightforward to operate short-handed and capable of comfortable extended cruising.
Almost every significant decision was made with that philosophy in mind. Esthec decking was chosen instead of teak because I believed it offered greater durability, lower maintenance and easier repair whilst retaining an elegant appearance. Folding cleats were specified wherever possible to reduce trip hazards and minimise the possibility of mooring lines or running rigging becoming snagged during manoeuvres. I also chose a gas galley rather than an induction system, as I preferred the independence of being able to cook without placing unnecessary demand on the yacht's electrical systems. The owner's cabin was reconfigured to provide significantly more storage for extended cruising, whilst a complete staysail preparation package was incorporated during construction to allow straightforward future offshore upgrades if required.
Following delivery, the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE benefited from a comprehensive commissioning and optimisation programme involving Solaris, professional crew and independent survey input. Every issue identified during the yacht's early life was addressed, allowing the next owner to enjoy a yacht that has already passed through the stage of ownership that is often the most time-consuming with a new build.
Perhaps what we have enjoyed most is that the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE has allowed our whole family to explore the Mediterranean for weeks at a time without ever feeling that we were looking forward to returning home to the comforts of a house. She has proved to be every bit as practical and comfortable as we had hoped when we specified her.
One unexpected pleasure has been the reaction she receives wherever we go. Whether in harbour or under way, it is remarkably rare for someone not to stop and compliment her beautiful lines and striking appearance.
I hope her next owner enjoys SOLITUDE as much as we have.
BROKER'S COMMENTS
The Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE represents a rare opportunity to acquire what is arguably one of the most thoughtfully specified and comprehensively developed Solaris 64RS yachts delivered to date.
With fewer than thirty Solaris 64RS yachts believed to have been delivered worldwide, opportunities to purchase a late-model example are exceptionally limited. The opportunity to acquire one that has remained in the hands of her original owner, has never been chartered, has been professionally maintained from new, lightly used and has already benefited from a comprehensive post-delivery optimisation programme is rarer still.
Unlike many brokerage yachts, where the specification simply reflects the factory options list, the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE has evolved through thoughtful ownership, practical experience and continuous refinement. Every significant decision made during her specification, commissioning and subsequent optimisation was guided by a clear philosophy: maximise reliability, simplify operation, enhance offshore capability and improve long-term ownership satisfaction.
The owner's decision to specify Esthec decking in place of teak, increase storage within the owner's cabin, install a complete staysail preparation package, specify gas cooking for greater cruising independence and upgrade the sail handling systems all demonstrate an emphasis on practical offshore cruising rather than showroom appeal. Numerous smaller refinements, including enhanced cleat protection, folding deck cleats, upgraded mainsheet controls and cockpit improvements, further distinguish SOLITUDE from a standard factory specification.
Perhaps her greatest advantage, however, is that she has already completed the stage of ownership that many buyers find the most demanding. Following delivery, the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE underwent an extensive commissioning and warranty optimisation programme involving the owner, Solaris Yachts, professional crew and independent survey input. Early-life issues were systematically identified, resolved and refined, resulting in a yacht that is fully sorted, professionally maintained, proven in service and immediately ready for extended cruising. This commitment to careful ownership has continued beyond the commissioning period. Routine annual maintenance has been carried out throughout ownership, with lift-out and antifouling completed during April / May 2026.
The Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE has benefited from documented Volvo Penta engine servicing in April 2026 and Cummins Onan generator servicing in May 2026, further reinforcing the yacht's exceptional level of maintenance and immediate readiness for her next owner. This represents a significant benefit over both a new-build project and many recently delivered brokerage yachts.
The result is a Solaris 64RS that offers far more than an impressive equipment list. She is a yacht that has been intelligently developed, professionally commissioned and carefully refined, allowing her next owner to enjoy the benefits of two years of thoughtful ownership without the time, uncertainty and expense normally associated with commissioning and optimising a new yacht.
With immediate availability from Palma de Mallorca and the possibility of a berth being available by separate negotiation, SOLITUDE offers an exceptional opportunity to acquire what is, in our opinion, one of the finest owner-specified and thoughtfully developed Solaris 64RS yachts currently available anywhere in the world.
For buyers considering a new Solaris 64RS, SOLITUDE also offers a compelling alternative. She combines immediate availability with a substantial premium options package, extensive owner-driven refinements and the reassurance that the commissioning and warranty process has already been completed. Recreating a yacht of this specification today would involve not only a significant investment in optional equipment but also the time and commitment required to take a new yacht through the same optimisation process that the Solaris 64 RS SOLITUDE has already successfully completed.

CONSTRUCTION
SOLITUDE was built by Solaris Yachts using advanced vacuum-infused composite construction techniques, developed to deliver a high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent structural rigidity and the refined sailing performance for which the Solaris 64RS is renowned.
Her hull was specified with a striking metallic Awlcraft 2000 painted finish by Awlgrip, giving the yacht a distinctive and contemporary appearance that immediately differentiates her from standard white-hulled examples.
During build, four additional hull windows in double safety glass were specified, increasing natural light within the accommodation while preserving the clean exterior profile of the yacht.
A significant feature of SOLITUDEs construction specification is the longitudinal dinghy garage, built as a watertight composite structure and designed to accommodate a tender of up to
